My research focuses on understanding how people construct their worldview and respond to information that challenges their expectations. This work draws on theories of attitudes, cognitive inconsistency, anomie, uncertainty, and control, applying these frameworks to contemporary societal issues including environmental protection, health behaviors, civic participation, social media misinformation, conspiracy theories, cyber-propaganda, and radicalization.

This research extends across three main areas:
1. General Models of Inconsistency: Control and Cognitive Dissonance
2. Attitude Formation and Resistance: Certainty, Radicalization, and Conspiracy
3. Big Team Science, Meta-science and New Research Practices
